Along the coast of the Costa Blanca and Costa Calida are many beautiful beaches, both naturally as artificial constructed. The water is very clear and attracts many sportsdivers. Find below a selection of beaches from Águilas to Cabo Roig.

Águilas This is a small fishermen village where during sunny days lots of local people come to the beaches to enjoy the water. The beaches are not very long because of the many small bays. The water in these bays is very clean and clear. The sandy beaches are also very clean and they offer a wide range of watersports like diving and snorkeling. At the beach there are many kiosks located where cold drinks and delicacies can be bought. Back to the Map

Mazarrón This place has various small rocky bays with small sand beaches. The beaches as well as the water are very clean. The beaches are very suitable to practice many kinds of watersport such as sailing and windsurfing. The rock bottom in combination with its fauna make this place very popular for divers. There are several kiosks for cold drinks and snacks and for the rent of parasols and sunbeds. Furthermore a baywatch is present. Back to the Map

Cartagena This is a city with an important port. Because of this important harbor character there is a lot of industry that makes this piece of coast less attractive for beach visit. Back to the Map

Calblanque This is a nature park that is protected by Unesco that also has four beautiful sandy beaches. Because of the protected character there are no facilities (watersport and kiosks) available. Extremely suitable for beach walks or bird-watchers. Back to the Map

Mar Menor This is a large inland sea of about 170 square kilometres. The coastline is more than 70 km long and accommodates many nice villages as San Pedro del Pinatar, Los Alcazares, Islas Menores and Playa Honda.
A warm wind in combination with the little depth of the water results in a pleasant temperature of the water (about 4 degrees higher than the water of the Mediterranean). It is already in the preseason pleasant of temperature. These circumstances make the Mar Menor very popular to practice a wide range of watersports. On all beaches along the Mar Menor all facilities regarding watersports are present: rental of equipment and classes.
The Mar Menor has many beautiful beaches with water of very little depth which are not yet crowded by the mass tourism. Along the entire coastline there are rental possibilities for parasols and sunbeds, kiosks for refreshments and fastfood and at walking distance restaurants of different classes.

La Manga The Mar Menor is divided from the Mediterranean by a spit of land of 22 kilometres long, called La Manga del Mar Menor. The sandy beaches along this spit are between 100 and 800 meters wide and have clear waters. These circumstances make La Manga a paradise between two seas. At these beaches are many nautical clubs located where all possible watersport can be practised. The beaches are very busy with several kiosks and beachstands. Back to the Map

San Pedro del Pinatar This village has a long and popular beach which is, because of its size, still very tranquil. There are no facilities like kiosks and rental of watersport equipment, only a lifeguard is present. Back to the Map

La Zenia A very popular beach with both tourists and residents alike. La Zenia beach is renowned for its cleanliness and white sand. There are plenty of amenities available at your disposal. Back to the Map

Playa Flamenca One of the smaller & quieter beaches on the coast, Playa Flamenca has been granted a blue flag by the EC. It is an ideal spot for families and has easy access including parking and bus stop. Back to the Map

Playa Dehesa de Campoamor One of the longest and most spacious beaches in the area. Campoamor boasts a beautiful harbour which provides ideal services for water sports such as sailing and surfing. Take a walk along the boulevard or enjoy a meal in the restaurant, which comes highly recommended. Back to the Map

La Mata Torrevieja boasts many long and beautiful beaches; however La Mata is probably the most popular. Excellent for water sport enthusiasts, you can practice windsurfing, sailing, watercycles and water motorcycles. A short walk from the bustling town of Torrevieja, it can also offer variety for those who want a break from sunbathing! Back to the Map

Cabo Roig This is a very small and beautiful beach which is very popular among tourists and local population. Beachstands and rental facilities (parasols and sunbeds) are present. Back to the Map
